The business

Decathlon is an online and offline sports retailer with over 2000 stores across nearly 70 countries. They are the largest sporting goods retailer in the world.
They manage the design, research, production and logistics and all of the distribution of its products in house and market their own goods directly to the consumer.
Stocking a wide range of sporting goods from tennis rackets, scuba diving equipment right through to mountain bikes, the scale of their operation is remarkable.

The challenge

Quite simply, Decathlon wanted to sell more mountain bikes online, particularly through search engines in particular Google.

The solution

We developed a SEO strategy and outreach program that involved reaching out to some of the biggest bloggers and website authorities in the UK.
We produced a guide to the best bike tracks in the UK and placed it onto the Decathlon UK website. After targeted outreach, we began to develop relationships with top bloggers in the space who then reciprocated to post links back to the Decathlon website.
