Digital Next launches Hazecards.com website for Grandson of TV’S David Dickinson
Myles, hailing from Stockport and also the grandson of TV’s David Dickinson, shows that entrepreneurialism and energy run in the family.
Having seen the inspirational rise to fame of his Grandfather, Myles was inspired to make his own mark to ensure that technology is now a feature of his project, setting his own benchmark for entrepreneurialism.
The Idea originally came from seeing people with a black Amex bank card but wanted to make this an affordable luxury product available to the average consumer. Myles also considered the trend of how people want to be perceived, especially in the world of social media. A personalised Haze card provides people with something extra special, making them feel unique, while simply using their bank card in their day to day lives.
Not everyone can go out and buy a top of the range car, like a Bugatti Veyron, but a Haze Cards product provides everybody the opportunity to have a level of personalised individualisation.
Myles started his process by creating a prototype, multiple times, many of which failed and were trial and error before getting to the stage where he thought he had a suitable product that could be developed and launched effectively as an affordable luxury item.
Using his original website, Myles was able to test the concept of the business model. In his own words, he explained, “The old website enabled us to test the concept of our business in a low cost manner, for any startup that is a plus. The website was almost the face of the business but due to the low website knowledge we had at the time we could not sustain a high conversion rate as the website was clunky and not up to spec.”.
Haze Cards’ original website was created by Myles just on a basic platform using only skills he had learnt from the likes of YouTube etc. With help from friends too. A learning curve for sure, Myles enlisted the help of our expert team at Digital Next to create a new website that would help take Haze Cards to the next level!
With sales already growing rapidly it is also clear that the potential of the market is limitless especially as progress is made with this new website and new innovations are proceeded with. Certainly this card and business is one that is capable of exponential growth but also in the digitally transforming world, one that could evolve and develop rapidly, with Myles already having a series of staged innovations, add-ons and customisations being added over the next 12 months.
Myles sees the new website as the start of a major growth stage of his company with many new doors open to him; certainly the future is very bright !
Mark Blackhurst Co founder of Digital Next stated that it’s “great to work on a project with Myles, he is very enthusiastic but we also see great potential in him and his business, that’s why we were pleased to provide our skills to get him onto the next level in his journey !”
