Challenge

We were asked to launch a paid social campaign to help maximise awareness of Essilor’s product, Crizal Drive driving lenses, as well as hoping to increase web traffic and encourage users to use the optician finder on the website.
Our aim was to reach consumers aged over 40 in the UK, and we created various audiences to maximise our reach

Solution

We created new video content and new designs for carousel and single image ads, splitting our budget across Conversion, Engagement, Traffic and Awareness campaigns. We began with 3 prospecting audiences, each targeting men and
women over 40 in the UK. These audiences included glasses-wearers, drivers and an affluent & innovative audience.
We also introduced a broader 40+ audience, and a lookalike audience based on web traffic for the Crizal Drive product. We also created a remarketing audience for those who had previously engaged with the Facebook page.

Result

In total, we reached over 3.2 million users, generated approximately 300,000 clicks,
164,000 link clicks and over 100,000 landing page views. Our ads generated 2,120
reactions, 663 comments, 654 saves and 348 post shares. We also generated over
6,000 searches on the optician finder. We exceed our initial expectations for link clicks, with strong performance throughout for a very successful campaign!
