SUPPORTING FUTURE MARKETERS

We have made a real effort to give back to our community over the years, whether it’s through charity events, giving talks on the importance of digital marketing to schools and businesses, or writing books on important topics like Brexit and cyber security!

Nurturing the next generation of Digital Marketers

At Digital Next, we take the time to impart our wisdom and knowledge on to the next generation. We have frequently worked with local schools, including Werneth School and Wilmslow High School, to offer talks on the fundamentals of digital marketing and commercialising your business.

We have also been involved in our own apprenticeship and work experience scheme, taking on young individuals who want to experience a digital agency first-hand and forge their own path in the industry.

GIVING BACK TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY

It’s important for us to be involved in our local community and offer local businesses the chance to come together for great causes. After all, without great businesses and charities, we wouldn’t have much of a community to begin with!

#CricketsTheWinner

In 2019, we hosted a charity cricket tournament in partnership with Greater Manchester Youth Network. Complete with food, drinks and music, it was a great opportunity to raise awareness and money for an organisation that helps young people to be safe. Businesses from across Manchester joined in, together raising over £2,500 for GMYN.

Working with top universities

We have been working with Nottingham Trent University and Staffordshire University for some time, offering our insights and expertise to help the students both in digital marketing and in business. From providing input into university courses to launching books, it’s been an exciting journey.

Supporting today’s students

Our very own founder and COO, Mark, regularly provides input and external moderation for the Staffordshire University’s MSc Digital Marketing course. Mark also acts as a judge for various university events, getting involved in student projects alongside personalities like Sarah Willingham, one of the Dragons from Dragon’s Den. We’ve also been involved in the launch of two books in conjunction with the university; Doing Business After Brexit and Cyber Security Law & Guidance.

Working with Businesses Around the World

At Digital Next, we’re not just focused on what’s happening in the UK. We’ve regularly travelled around the world to broaden our horizons and share our experiences in the digital marketing sphere.

Digital marketing across the globe

Over the years we have travelled to different destinations to give talks on the fundamentals of digital marketing. We have flown to Italy to present to 30 employees, China to give seminars to Chinese businessmen on marketing their businesses, and have hosted students from Denmark to teach the principles of digital marketing. We’ve also visited law firms around the country regularly to offer training in social media and blogging.
